Firstly, sorry for the ambiguous subject line.
But there was so much to say that I had to skip the verbs and prepositions.
Giving you context:
This Tuesday morning, Jayesh Kadam (our group President and a Hastākshar lover) shushed someone talking about Corona.
“Have you watched Harry Potter?
Corona is like Voldemort. He Who Must Not Be Named.”
And he did drive a good point.
Although we always seek to address the elephant in the room, sometimes it’s equally important to not talk about a few things.
“Oh my god, everyone is falling sick!”
“The government says we could go into another lockdown”
“F*ck; the economy is crashing…”
Whether or not you say it, everyone knows it.
Your speaking about it is not going to change a single thing.
Then why utter unpleasant things and add to the negativity?
Words have power.
They take you to any mental space that you want to go to.
Make you feel whatever you wish to.
Let’s use them wisely.
Reminds me of the climax of the recent Leonardo Di Caprio starrer ‘Don’t Look Up.’
Despite imminent doom, everyone smiles and chats at the dinner table, sharing stories and experiences.
You can choose what to speak, think, feel.
Don’t underestimate that power. Please.
