Hastākshar Issue #63: Sorry, but it is time to stop.

Hello, how are you feeling?

I have been thinking since the last two weeks.

A lot. Trying to find answers and find peace.

We crossed Buddha Purnima.

A saint, sitting by himself, just contemplating.

And finally getting all the answers.

But something reminded me that philosophy and intellect are dangerously seductive, ruining time, energy and potential under the guise of ‘growth.’

When Krishna gave the ‘Karma kiye ja, fal ki chinta mat kar’ advice, did he mean the same?

Was he trying to warn Arjun that he shouldn’t bother about the end result of his introspection, too?

Is that why Eklavya didn’t bother to think, rationalise or reason before cutting off his thumb when Dronacharya asked him to?

“Those who succeed are those who stop asking themselves too many questions. They accept that they don’t have all the answers and redirect their energy on doing instead of thinking.”

Yes. Hastakshar does talk of the internal world.

But that progress is baseless without action.

So, it’s time to stop with too many questions.

And start with doing.
