Hello, how did your week go?
Yes: the world, as we know it, is shut.
At least 5 people you know have tested positive.
Working from home gets lonely, boring and frustrating at times.
Idiots who have nothing to do are getting political.
In short, it’s a circus out there.
Yet, here you have a wonderful opportunity to spend time with yourself. I know there was plenty of it in the last year too, but let’s not repeat the past mistakes.
We are but mere puppets of our past experiences and the emotions that stem from them. It is possible (and much needed) that you outgrow them to stop them from defining your present and future.
Closing your eyes, breathing in and looking inside can be a scary process. Facing your true self and coming to face with your repressed fears is very, very scary. Yet, it must be done. For there’s only so long you can run away from. Reality catches up with all of us.
I count you as a friend. I care about you. And for your well-being and peace, I request you to sit quietly and let things flow. Don’t fight anything, don’t control your thoughts. Just breathe. You’re strong enough; you’re safe.
Let’s not run any further. It’s time to stop avoiding that emotion. Face it and embrace it.
Wishing you peace and closure,
